commands before they install CCM.

On the Client and Server machines, run the CCM 2.3 installation
program—the install2_3.sh file—and provide the following
parameters:
Specify the path to the temporary folder containing the new CCM
2.3 files.
Specify the path to the folder containing the CCM 2.2 or CCM
2.2.1 installation.
Note: This parameter is the previous version of the CCM
installation that you wish to upgrade.
For example, if CCM 2.2 or CCM 2.2.1 is installed in the default
directories (folders), the command is:
sh ./install2_3.sh $HOME/TempCCM /opt/CCM
Note: If CCM 2.3 is installed in the default directories, you need
only enter sh ./install2_3.sh $HOME/TempCCM
On Server machines, the installation script runs CCM Server to begin
data migration. An INSTALL_COMPLETE message appears when the
installation completes. This can take several minutes.
Note: CCM 2.3 creates placeholders for the migrated devices
on the CCM navigation tree. In step 16 you are asked to reimport
these devices to complete data migration.
On the CCM Server machine, start the Server.
In the CCM Server Log window, verify that the Version 2.3 Contivity,
C251, and C221 cartridges have been installed. You should see
information similar to the following:
Contivity Secure IP Services Gateway 2.3.0
Nortel Networks Contivity 221 2.3.0
Nortel Networks Contivity 251 2.3.0
