On all CCM Server machines, go to the Nortel Networks Contivity
Configuration Manager Server.
Select File, and then Exit to quit the Server.
All CCM Client and Server programs should now be stopped.
On the Client and Server machines, open a Command window.
Log in as root by entering the following command:
su -
Make a temporary new folder in a convenient location. The new
CCM 2.3 files will be stored in this folder. For example, in $HOME,
create a new folder called $HOME/TempCCM.
Obtain the CCM 2.3 files from either your installation CD or from the
Nortel Customer Support web site. Store them on the Client and
Server machines in the new folder. Only these files should be in
the folder:
Note: If you obtain the files from a CD, you must retrieve the
installation script (.bat file) from the Solaris subdirectory.

If you are no longer logged in as root, open a command window and
log in as root by entering the following command:
su -
At the prompt, change the directory to the location conatining the
CCM 2.3 files. For example, if the files are in $HOME/TempCCM,
enter:
