Backing up the database (data dump and ABKO)

The audit begins as soon as LD 01 is entered.

TEMPLATE 0002 USER COUNT HIGH
TEMPLATE 0003 NO USERS FOUND
STARTING SL1 TEMPLATE SCAN
TEMPLATE 0001 USER COUNT OK
TEMPLATE 0120 USER COUNT OK
TEMPLATE AUDIT COMPLETE
To back up system data, complete the following two procedures.
1
Perform a data dump to save all system memory to the hard disk.
2
Perform a ABKO (attended backup) to save the database to a spare set of
floppy disks.

Performing a data dump

Log into the system.

Load the Equipment Data Dump Program (LD 43). At the prompt, enter:
LD 43
Load program
CHECKSUM OK
CHECKSUM OK
CHECKSUM OK
CHECKSUM OK
