3.4.6 Signal Meter Display
During a Deployment Survey, the wireless handset is used as a tool for determining the optimal
location for Base Stations and Repeaters. Radio coverage is measured by a combination of the
Q-value and RSSI values. Handsets measure the signal of the active base station from which the
handset is receiving signal while off hook and up to three additional alternate base stations.
The handset must be subscribed and within range of the deployment base for this information to
be displayed.
3.4.7 Accessing Signal Meter Mode
Before activating the Signal Meter Mode, be sure that the battery is charged.
3.4.7.1 Activating Signal Meter Mode
Turn the wireless handsets on. (Press the
