The act of locating the mounting location and installing Base Stations
and Repeaters

The Deployment Tool Base is included in the Digital Mobility Tool Kit
and propagates the radio signal for deployment and demonstration
purposes. One handset to handset call is supported.
Base Stations propagate radio signal. Up to four simultaneous
conversations are supported.
Repeaters, wirelessly synchronize to a programmed host Base
Station and Repeat voice channels to create a larger coverage area.
A site survey comprises the action of locating the mounting location
and noting the cabling requirements for all Base Stations and
Repeaters.
The length of time necessary to recharge the Handset's battery.
A rechargeable battery pack is included in the Digital Mobility
Deployment Tool Kit. This battery pack is used to operate the
Deployment Base

A speech channel is used to carry communication between the
Handset and the Base Station or Repeater.
An expression of the bit failure rate in the communication between the
handset and a base station. The value has a max. of 64, equal to no
bit errors measured.
A relative expression for the signal strength of a Base Station as
measured by the handset at a given location.
A process initiated by the handset in which the speech channel
carrying an active conversation is passed from one Base Station to
another.
