If you set up a Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) or frame relay line between local and
remote Versalar 15000 switch routers, and enable packet capture (PCAP) on the local
machine, PCAP does not capture the fastpath multicast traffic forwarded over the
interface.
Large File Transfers with Xmodem or Ymodem Not Supported

You cannot use Xmodem or Ymodem to transfer large files. For example, you can
transfer a 200 KB file, but not a 3.5 MB file.
Use FTP or TFTP to transfer large files.
Check Router ID Before Deleting an OSPF Interface

When configuring the first OSPF interface, the software selects a local IP address as
the OSPF router ID.
Before you delete an interface, determine whether it is used as the OSPF router ID. If
it is, assign a different local interface as the OSPF router ID.
No Response to First IPCP Configuration Request

The Versalar 15000 might not respond to the first Internet Protocol Control Packet
(IPCP) configuration request from a peer. However, it does respond to the second
request and activates correctly. Depending on how quickly the peer resends another
IPCP configuration request, there might be a small delay.
