Known Anomalies for the Versalar Switch Router 15000
Title: OSPF Checksum Errors with BGP [New]

Description:
1. Configure a Versalar 15000 with BGP.
2. Establish a peer connection with a second Versalar 15000.
3. Set the igp-interaction parameter to ospf.
4. Configure OSPF on both routers.
Workaround:Configure 0SPF first. Then configure BGP.
Title: IFP Card in Slot 8 Loses Its Connection to the SSP Card [New]
Number:
Description: Resetting the IFP cards in slots 6 and 7 causes the IFP card in slot 8 to lose its
connection to the SSP card. For example, the following command does not work:
reset 6,7
Workaround: Reset the IFP cards in slots 6 and 7 separately. For example:
reset 6
reset 7

Description: The following commands fail to reprogram the diagnostic PROMs in the internet
forwarding processor (IFP) cards in slots 7 and 8:
prom -w ifpdiag.rom 6,7,8
prom -w ifpdiag.rom 6-8
prom -w ifpdiag.rom 7,8
prom -w ifpdiag.rom 7-8
Workaround: Reprogram *.rom files one slot at a time. Reprogram *.ppc files one slot at a time. Do
not attempt to reprogram more than one SSP card at one time.
Title: DVMRP State Is Down After Enabling an Accept Policy [New]

Description: The state of DVMRP goes down after a DVRMP accept policy is enabled. The state
should stay up.
Workaround: At the global DVMRP level, disable and then reenable DVMRP.
