Optional parity bit enable
Some systems require parity bit checking. Consult the
system documentation for the specific requirements.
See figures in Section 3 for location of Parity Bit Enable
jumper. Jumper-on enables parity reporting by the
SCSI bus.
DC power connection
Drive model numbers terminating with "N" or "ND"
receive DC power through a 4 pin connector mounted
on the PCB next to the SCSI I/O connector. See Figure
1.
Drive models terminating in "NC" receive DC power
through the 80 pin I/O connector from the host com-
puter. No separate DC power connection is available
on the drive.
