Precautions when Handling the Projector after Use

The bottom of the projector, as well as its exhaust vents and the area around the vents, becomes very
hot during operation and will remain hot immediately after turning off the projector. When moving the
projector, be sure first to turn off power and disconnect the AC adapter (or battery) from the projector.
Hold the projector, as shown in the illustration below.
Important!
 Note the following precautions while carrying the projector.
– Do not touch the projector's lens. Doing so creates the risk of damage to or soiling of the
lens.
– Take care not to drop the projector. Doing so creates the risk of projector damage and
personal injury.
– Take care not to allow any foreign matter (metal filings, etc.) to get inside of the projector.
Use of the projector's soft inner case (optionally available YB-3) is recommended.
– Be sure to disconnect all cables from the projector before picking it up or carrying it to
another location.
