IMPORTANT: The keys must be pressed firmly
and within 5 seconds. If you make a mistake,
press the "ESC" button and start the sequence
again.
5. Connect the connector of the 7.2V NiMH
rechargeable battery pack to the connector
in the battery compartment.
6. Connect the plug of the 12V power adaptor
to the DC jack in the panel. Route the cable
along the cable track.

7. Fit the Panel to the mounting bracket.
If removing the Control Panel from the wall,
use a flat blade screwdriver to push the clip
towards the wall and push the Panel upwards
and away from the bracket. Before doing
so, again it is advisable to wear ear
defenders as the tamper alarm will sound.
8. If the Control Panel is powered up and left
for
approximately
proceeding to the next step, it may begin
producing a beeping sound and the event
log indicator icon will flash on the Control
Panel because it is searching for the IP
gateway which needs to be power up

To cancel the beeping and indication, press
on the Control Panel followed by

IP GATEWAY

The IP gateway of the system allows you to
remotely access and control your system over
the internet using the free online web software at
https://GlobalGuard.Friedland.co.uk or using
the Android/Apple IOS "GlobalGuard" mobile
device App.
The gateway communicates to the Control Panel
wirelessly.
In order to ensure you can remotely access
your system, your internet connection must
be active that the gateway is connected to.
