8.2 Free hub
The rear hub features a 2-ratchet system (for
the item code, please refer to the exploded view
chapter 8.1): the smaller ratchet is located in the
freehub body while the bigger is located inside
the hub flange. For the right functioning of the
product, a periodic check of components' status is
required and, if necessary, clean and grease them
(use only the specific grease WDRATCHET-LUB,
available as accessory). In case of breakage or
damages of components, spare parts are always
available through Deda Elementi Service Center
and official Dealers.
Instructions for use:
Apply a light coat of lubricant between the inner
faces of the two ratchets evenly.
Warning:
An excessive amount of lubricant could prevent
the correct engagement of the ratchtes and
cause the freewheel to slip.
