ROCKER ARM SHAFT BEARING I.D.
Measure the rocker arm shaft bearing I.D.
STANDARD:
SERVICE LIMIT: 6.043 mm (0.2379 in)
If the measurement is more than the service limit,
replace the cylinder (page 10-6).
ROCKER ARM SHAFT O.D.
Measure the rocker arm shaft O.D.
STANDARD:
SERVICE LIMIT: 5.953 mm (0.2344 in)
If the measurement is less than the service limit,
replace the rocker arm shaft (page 10-4).
CYLINDER SLEEVE I.D.
Measure and record the cylinder I.D. at three levels in
both the "X" axis (perpendicular to the crankshaft) and
the "Y" axis (parallel to the crankshaft). Take the
maximum reading to determine the cylinder wear and
taper.
STANDARD:
SERVICE LIMIT: 56.165 mm (2.2112 in)
If the measurement is more than the service limit,
replace the cylinder (page 10-6).
6.000 – 6.018 mm
(0.2362 – 0.2369 in)
5.960 – 5.990 mm
(0.2346 – 0.2358 in)
56.000 - 56.015 mm
(2.2047 - 2.2053 in)
