Disassembly
Use the illustration and instructions to disassemble
the pump body.
5 To prepare the threaded rods to lower the
volute cover, do the following:
6 Remove the remaining volute cover hardware.

Assembly
• Thread a spacer (6 inches), 2
washers, and a nut onto each rod
(1/2-13 x 18 inches).
• Install the rods into the volute cover.
• Tighten the nuts so that the spacers
sit 1/2 to 3/4 inch below the cover.
