3.16.4 Green Printer ON Button (At Operator Station)
Turn the Main Power Button on the Keyboard Tray at the Operator Station.
3.17 Performing Power On Checks
Follow these steps to power on the on printer.
1.
Turn main facility power breaker to On position.
2.
Turn Main AC Disconnect switch to On position.
3.
Press green Power On button and allow printer to startup.
4.
Inspect coolant and ink lines for leaks.
5.
Perform carriage shuttle test to verify carriage moves smoothly across entire X axis.
6.
Advance and reverse media belt to verify belt moves smoothly across Y axis.
7.
Wipe entire jet plate and jet packs using wipes saturated in head maintenance fluid.
8.
Verify carriage gap matches the requirement of.060".
3.18 Printing Acceptance Prints
Follow the instructions in this section to print acceptance prints and match to the factory ACTARGs.
1.
Load rolled media and Print a Jet Test and check for print quality (missing nozzles), and take corrective action to reclaim nozzles as
needed.
2.
Import the factory file (ACTARG) to the Active Print Queue.
3.
Change print settings based on the Acceptance Print settings, if different.
4.
Print the File.
5.
Compare the printed and factory ACTARG images to identify any discrepancies in quality.
