Multiple handset use
Call transfer using intercom
Using the telephone base:
1. When on an outside call, press INT on the
telephone base.
- OR -
When on an outside call, press MENU/
the telephone base, then press
highlight Intercom. Press
2. The call is automatically put on hold. Press
or
CID
DIR
shows Calling HS X (X represents the handset
number). The destination handset rings and
shows Base is calling.
3. To answer the intercom call on the other device,
HOME/
press
the destination handset. The outside call is still
on hold. Both devices now show Intercom.
4. To transfer the call, press MENU/
telephone base, and then scroll to Transfer, then press
other handset automatically connects to the outside call.
- OR -
The called party can end the intercom call by pressing CANCEL on the
telephone base. The outside call continues with the telephone base.
Notes:
If you want to cancel an intercom call and reconnect to the outside call before the destination handset answers, press
f
OFF/
on the originating handset or press CANCEL on the originating telephone base.
CANCEL
If the called device does not answer the intercom call within 100 seconds, or if the device is in use, on a call or out of
f
range, the initiating telephone base displays No answer, try again, or the initiating handset displays Unable
to call, and returns to the outside call.
You can press
OFF/CANCEL or MUTE/

telephone base to temporarily silence the intercom ringer.
Only one intercom call can be established at a time.
