Rear screen de-icing/
demisting
With the engine running, press
button 2. The operating tell-tale comes
on.
This function permits rapid demisting/
de-icing of the rear screen and de-icing
of the door mirrors (on equipped vehi-
cles).
To exit this function, press button 2
again. Warning light goes out.
Demisting automatically stops.

Rapid demisting
Turn controls 1, 3 and 5 to positions
W
:
– demisting;
– blower at speed 3 or 4 ;
– maximum temperature.
Press the 4 button to disable the air
recirculation (light off) and press the 2
button to activate de-icing of the rear
screen (light on).

When the air conditioning system
is turned off, the air recirculation
is automatically activated accord-
ing to conditions like vehicle speed
to make the air more comfortable.
Pressing the 4 button will disable
this function.
