Remove the spark plug and drain all oil from the cylinder before attempting
to start the unit after storage.
1) Use clean rags on the outside of the compactor, and keep the vents in obstruction.
Do not use strong detergents or gasoline-based cleaners to clean plastic
parts. Chemicals can damage the plastic.
2) Lift the spring bolt and bend the wheel support.
3) Carefully bend the handle down. Do not pinch or bend the control cables.
4) Store your plate compactor upright in a clean, dry, well ventilated building.

To avoid burns and fires, allow the engine to cool before lifting / transporting the machine or
storing it indoors.
