1. To check the belt tension, remove the three bolts
securing the belt cover to the body as shown in
Figure 7.
5. OPERATION
Before operating the engine for the first time, please
review the IMPORTANT
INFORMATION and the chapter entitled BEFORE
OPERATION.
STARTING THE ENGINE
1Turn the fuel valve to the ON position.

2. To start a cold engine, turn the choke to the
CLOSED position.
To restart a warm engine, turn the choke to OPEN.

4. If the belt is worn or loose, replace it with a series
belt RPF-3320 or 1-32.
WARNING
Carbon monoxide is toxic.
Breathing it can cause fainting and even kill you.
Avoid areas or actions exposing you to carbon
monoxide.
4. Set the engine switch to ON

Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance,
and then pull hard.
