- Page 3 Resources Required • Fastening hardware • Appropriate drive bits • Tabletop material • Tape measure • Cordless or electric drill Installation Place OEM-supplied tabletop material squarely on pedestal base. Use tape measure to make sure the tabletop material is centered on the pedestal base. Secure tabletop to the base with OEM-supplied fasteners appropriate for the material and thickness of the tabletop.
- Page 4 Operation Retract the table so the tabletop can function as a base in converting the area to a bed. NOTE: The tabletop must be supported underneath in order to place a mattress on it to create a bed. The weight rating is dependent on the support structures used by the OEM. Locate the latch on the side of the assembly (Fig.
- Page 5 Move the latch to the side (Fig. 2) and then push down on the tabletop (Fig. 3). The retracted table can now function as a bed base (Fig. 4). To move back to the table position, lift up on tabletop. The latch is spring loaded so it will snap into place to hold the tabletop when the top is returned to the up position.
