Do not allow liquid to drip into the analyzer insertion area.
2. Allow enough time after cleaning for the equipment to dry completely.
Cleaning the analyzer cartridge slot
Clean the cartridge slot by blowing compressed dry air or nitrogen (for example, with a
compressed invertible gas duster can) inside the slot.
Do not insert the compressed air canister tube inside the cartridge slot. Guide the tube
back and forth in front of the cartridge slot during cleaning.
Cleaning the Docking Station outer surfaces
Ensure that the power is off and the power cord is disconnected before you perform any
maintenance on the docking station.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Clean the docking station outer surfaces with a cloth or wipe, dampened with one of the
following:
‒ 70% isopropanol alcohol
‒ 70% ethanol alcohol
‒ Antibacterial soap and water
Do not allow liquid to drip into the connector sockets or the air channel areas of the
docking station.
2. Allow enough time after cleaning for the equipment to dry completely.
Wipe around, not over, connector sockets and air channel for the cooling fan.
Cleaning the Docking Station connector socket
The connector socket can be cleaned by blowing compressed dry air or nitrogen (for
example, with a compressed invertible gas duster can) when required.
Cleaning the accessories
Clean the power cable, adapter, and Ethernet cable only if contaminated.
Ensure that the power is off and the power cord is disconnected before you perform any
maintenance on the accessories.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Clean the accessories with a cloth or wipe, dampened with one of the following:
‒ 70% isopropanol alcohol
‒ 70% ethanol alcohol
‒ Antibacterial soap and water
