MINOR MAINTENANCE TIPS
d.
To increase the free play, loosen the adjuster
bolt evenly and push the rear wheel forward.
e.
Check the chain for correct chain tension.
f.
Ensure that the index marks on the adjuster and
swing arm are same on both left and right side
of the swing arm.
g.
Hold spindle firmly to the left side and tighten
rear hex nut to a torque of 100 Nm.
h.
Tighten the LH and RH chain adjusters in the
swing arm using 6 mm Allen key available in the
tool kit.
WARNING
Chain slackness beyond 30 mm will lead to chain slippage
and may also cause increased wear rates to chain and
sprockets.
Please ensure the both wheels are aligned correctly, after
adjusting the chain and before tightening the rear wheel
spindle nut.
BATTERY AND MAINTENANCE
The Motorcycle is provided with 12 V - 12 Ah
VRLA battery.
The battery must be periodically checked for
cleanliness and corrosion free terminals.
NOTE
The poor contact or loose fitment of battery
terminals may cause ECU failure.
DISMANTLING
Switch "OFF" the
engine and remove
ignition key from the
key barrel.
The battery is
located inside the
right side panel.
