5.8 DISASSEMBLY

The scooter can be disassembled into 5 parts: Seat, Front Section, Basket, Battery pack and
Rear Section.
Always disassemble or assemble the scooter on a flat, dry surface with enough space to move
around the scooter.
Please note that the disassembled sections of the scooter take up more floor space than the
assembled scooter.

Caution
To avoid injury, if necessary, seek help when disassembling or assembling
the scooter.
1. Ensure the tiller is raised before disassembling the scooter.
2. Turn the key switch to "OFF".
3. Place the freewheel lever into the drive position.
4. Pull upwards on the swivel-release lever to remove the seat from the seat post.
5. Remove the battery pack from the scooter.
6. Pull the rear section clip upwards then separate the scooter front & rear section.
7. Hold the front section with both hands and place down.

5.9 TILLER ADJUSTMENT

1. Unscrew the tiller knob by turning it anti-clockwise.
2. Adjust the angle of the tiller to the desired position.
3. Tighten the tiller knob by turning it clockwise.

5.10 DRIVE MODE

Stand behind the scooter and pull the freewheel lever towards you
to activate Drive Mode.
The scooter's motor is now engaged.

5.11 FREEWHEEL MODE

Stand behind the scooter and push
the freewheel lever away from you
to activate Freewheel Mode.
The scooter's motor is now
disengaged & can be pushed by
hand.

5.12 DRIVING YOUR SCOOTER

1. Turn the key switch to "ON".
2. Check the battery gauge level to make sure the scooter has enough power for the
journey. (If you are concerned about the battery gauge level, please charge the battery
before departure).
3. Adjust the speed dial to the appropriate speed.
4. Ensure the throttle lever functions properly.
5. Ensure the Electromagnetic Brake functions properly.
6. Make sure it is safe before riding the scooter in public areas.
7. Stopping distance on slopes can be significantly greater than on level ground.

Caution
1. Do not press the throttle lever left and right simultaneously. This can cause loss
of control of the scooter.
2. Do not set the maximum speed when riding the scooter indoors.
3. Do not adjust the speed dial whilst riding the scooter. Sudden changes in speed
can pose a danger to the user and cause the scooter to malfunction.
4. Do not place magnetic devices near the operating handle. This may affect the
operation of the scooter.
5. Be aware of people and objects when reversing the scooter.

5.13 DRIVING SPEED

The scooter's driving speed is set using the speed control knob on the control panel. When
the knob is turned to a position, the scooter will only travel at the speed indicated by the
knob. Turn the knob clockwise to speed up the scooter. Turn the knob anti-clockwise to slow
down the scooter. Please take note of the laws of the highway (highway code) in the country/
state in which the device is being used.
