PRACTICE OPERATING YOUR SCOOTER
We recommend practicing in a spacious, open area until you are comfortable operating
the scooter.
1. Set the speed dial to the slowest speed initially.
2. When using the scooter for the first time, please make sure you are accompanied by
someone who can guide you around obstacles.
3. Make sure you can safely operate and control the scooter before changing to a
high speed.
You must always maintain control when using your scooter. For example: When accelerating,
stopping, turning, reversing, or going up/down inclines to avoid the possibility of falling off
the scooter.
The scooter is limited to one user only. Do not have more than one user on the scooter at
any time.
Fully charge the battery before using the scooter for the first time and after each trip. If
you do not use the scooter regularly, fully charge the battery every two weeks to avoid
battery damage.
When the battery indicator turns red, charge the scooter as soon as possible.
Discharging the battery completely can damage the battery or shorten the expected life
of the battery.
Keep metal objects away from the battery terminals as electric shocks may occur.
Always make sure the power is off when getting on or off the scooter.
Always make sure the freewheel lever is in the drive position before getting on or off
the scooter.
Do not put the scooter in neutral when idling on a hill.
Avoid unnecessary movements of the scooter.
Avoid exposure to moisture, standing water, rain, snow, ice, or salt whenever possible.
Store in clean and dry conditions.
Do not remove the anti-tip wheels.
Always keep your feet on the footboard when riding the scooter.
Be aware of loose clothing getting caught in the wheels.
Always plug the battery charger directly into a wall outlet. Avoid using extension cords.
Any mechanical/electrical disassembly must be carried out by an authorized dealer.
Do not sit on the scooter when transporting it in a vehicle.
Do not try to lift the scooter by any part other than the frame of the scooter.
Switch off the ignition when sitting on the scooter for a long period of time to eliminate
the risk of accidental throttle contact.

2.1 REGULAR USE OF YOUR SCOOTER

For service procedures, please see the "Inspection & Maintenance" section of this manual.
Check your scooter daily to maximise its lifespan. Always make sure the battery is fully
charged and the throttle is centralised before powering on the scooter.

» Do not stretch your body whilst on the scooter
You may lose your balance or get injured.
» Do not use your scooter in the following situations:
The route is covered with mud or loose gravel.
The route is uneven, narrow, or covered with snow.
The route follows a canal or waterway and has no fences or hedges.
Do not ride your scooter after drinking alcohol or when you are tired.
Do not ride your scooter at night without adequate lighting or in bad weather.
Further information: Avoid holes in the route where wheels can get caught. Do not make sharp
turns. Do not ride on an escalator.

Do not use a mobile phone or other wireless communication device while using
the scooter. Be careful when driving on or near ramps & slopes.
1. Be careful when climbing steep slopes. For more information, see "CLIMBING ANGLE" in
the Specifications section of this manual.
2. To avoid damage to the scooter and personal injury, the user should not lean on or pull
on the throttle lever when going up or down slopes.
3. Drive slowly when going uphill and never reverse the scooter when going downhill.
4. The scooter has a high-speed setting of "5" and a low-speed setting of "1".
5. Do not drive over any holes in the route. For more information, see "MAXIMUM GROUND
CLEARANCE" in the Specifications section of this manual.
6. Do not drive in water overlying the route unless the water is less than 1 inch deep.
7. Please drive slowly on surfaces with drops or potholes.
8. Avoid sharp turns when driving on gravel roads or ramps.

WARNING!
Do not operate the scooter unless the tiller (handlebar column) is up, the teeth
in the tiller adjustment bolt fit together, and the bolt is fully tightened.
Do not lean against, or pull forward on, the handlebar while mounting or
dismounting from the scooter. Serious harm or injury may occur.
CAUTION
Surface temperatures can increase when exposed to external heat sources
e.g. sunlight
