Electrical safety

• Connect the appliance to a
current with an earthed
outlet protected by a fuse
which corresponds to the
nominal currents indicated
on the nameplate. Contact a
qualified technician for
grounding installation. Do
not use the device without
an earth connection in
accordance with local /
national regulations.
• The plug or electrical
connection to the appliance
should be in an easily
accessible place (where it will
not be affected by the
plate flame). If this is not
possible, there must be a
mechanism (fuse, switch,
etc.) on the electrical
installation to which the
device is connected,
complying with electrical
regulations and separating
all poles from the network.
• The device must not be
plugged into the socket
during installation, repair
and transport.

voltage and frequency
values indicated on the

have a power cord) Use only
the connection cable
indicated in the section
Technical specifications
• Do not block the power
cord under and behind the
appliance. Do not place
heavy objects on the power
cord. The power cord must
not be bent, crushed or
come into contact with a
heat source.
• When the lathe is operating,
its rear surface also
becomes hot. Power cords
must not touch the rear
surface, the fittings may be
damaged.
• Avoid trapping electrical
cables in the lathe door and
do not run them on hot
surfaces. You risk causing a
short circuit in the lathe and
a fire due to the melting of
the cable.
