N OTE: Handle t he sensor wit h care during inst allat ion and operat ion. Sensor windows soiled by
fingerprint s, dust , wat er, oil, et c. m ay creat e st ray light t hat m ay degrade t he peak perform ance of t he
sensor. Blow t he window clear using filt ered, com pressed air, t hen clean as necessary using 70%
isopropyl alcohol and cot t on swabs or wat er and a soft clot h.

correct and incorrect sensor- t o- obj ect orient at ion as cert ain placem ent s m ay pose problem s for sensing dist ances.

2 .2 Se n sor M ou n t in g
1. I f a bracket is needed, m ount t he sensor ont o t he bracket .
2. Mount t he sensor ( or t he sensor and t he bracket ) t o t he m achine or equipm ent at t he desired locat ion. Do not
t ight en at t his t im e.
3. Check t he sensor alignm ent .
4. Tight en t he screws t o secure t he sensor ( or t he sensor and t he bracket ) in t he aligned posit ion.
