    3 TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT The Sigma platform lift was developed for transporting wheelchair users. It is driven by a double chain drive inside the drive tower. The lift is powered by 2 x 12 V batteries that are permanently charged (as long as the power supply unit is powered).

    4 SAFETY DEVICES OF THE SIGMA The Sigma platform lift is equipped with the following safety device: Travelling platform swing door The swing door, which must be closed during travel, prevents falling from the platform.     7 TROUBLESHOOTING General For safety reasons, your Sigma platform lift is fitted with a number of electrical and mechanical interlocks and touch sensitive edges. If any of these devices are not in order or any component or sequence is not working correctly, the unit will not operate. In the event of a breakdown, you can independently check your system for faults with the support of the points listed below or contact the service personnel.
