3. Remove the 2.5 inch HDD/SSD from its tray assembly by removing the 4 screws.
NOTE The tray assembly must be kept for use when returning the instrument for
calibration or repair.
4. Install the HDD/SSD drive into the eSATA enclosure (CFE). Follow the instructions that
are included with the enclosure.

5. Mount the 2.5 inch eSATA enclosure in the desired location. Follow the instructions that
are included with the enclosure.
6. Install the removable tray assembly eSATA (W1312-60070) in the instrument.
Torque to 9 in-lb.
7. Connect the eSATA cable (CFE) from the removable tray assembly eSATA to the
enclosure.
8. Provide power per the enclosure instructions.
9. Install the instruments AC power cord and turn on the instrument.

Return for Service

1. Remove the eSATA drive adapter from the instrument.
2. Remove the HDD/SSD from the enclosure and install it into the original tray.
3. Place the original tray in the instrument. Refer to
Assistance" on page 12
