Description
The Ultro-flow continuous operation fan provides continuous ventilation
to kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and cloakrooms. The unit has 3 speed
settings: trickle, comfort boost (automatically activated by the integral humidity sensor) and full boost
which is activated manually by switch or integral pull cord. The uniot has an adjustable boost run on timer
which is only triggered when boost has been activated for over 60 seconds to prevent unintentional boost
run on. The unit does not have a high dependency on background ventilators for operation and can work in
combination with Ultro-flow heat retention fans installed in bedrooms and living rooms.

Read this document before installing and using the Ultro-flow continuous operation fan. Keep the
document in a safe place for future reference. Ultro-flow fans are manufactured to comply with electrical
equipment regulations and must be installed by a technically qualified person. The manufacturer assumes
no responsibility for damage to persons or property resulting from failure to observe the regulations or
instructions contained in this document.

Design front cover removable for cleaning without use of tools.
Rear reinforcement ring to prevent spigot deformation during installation.
High efficiency aerodynamic fan with 'winglet' blades designed for quietness and efficiency.
Single phase EC reversible brushless motor with integral thermal protection.
Motor mounted on high quality ball bearings.
Double insulated; no earth connection required.
Trickle speed selectable during installation.
Option to boost from trickle (or from off) through LS connection or pull cord.
Through wall or ducted installation.
IPX4 protection.
Power supply: 220 – 240 volt 50Hz.

- Page 2 Installation, use and maintenance The unit should not be used for applications other than those specified in this document. Following removal of the product from the packaging the condition of the product should be checked and any damage reported immediately. If in doubt consult a qualified technician. Do not leave the packaging within the reach of small children or other vulnerable persons.
- Page 3 Pull cord operation – The pull cord works as the boost switch. Wire up as per figure 16G. External switch operation – To boost the unit with an external switch such as a light switch the pull cord should be disabled. To do this the pull cord should simply be cut when in the off position. The plastic caps on the wiring terminals will need to be removed to allow the switch wires to be secured.

- Page 11 Maintenance and cleaning The unit should be cleaned regularly by the owner/occupier (a minimum of every 6 months) to maintain performance and warranty cover. A record should be kept of cleaning dates in case of a warranty claim. Disposal & recycling The product complies with EU Directive 2002/96/EC.
