Cut away only the film both side Aluminum wing joiner B=B’ B’ Stabilizer Stabilizer A=A’ A’ When you are satisfied with the alignment, use a pencil to trace around the top and bottom of the stabilizer where it meets the fuselage.

    DORNIER DO-27 8- Electric motor Plywood motor mounting Pull the magnetic battery hatch out of the fuselage Aluminum motor mounting plate (included with electric motor set) Using a aluminum motor mounting plate as a template, mark the plywood motor mounting plate where the four holes are to be drilled (A).

  • Page 11 DORNIER DO-27 14- Balance and control surface THE CENTER OF GRAVITY IS LOCATED 65 - 70mm BACK FROM THE LEADING EDGE OF THE WING, AT THE FUSELAGE. BALANCE A PLANE UPSIDE DOWN WITH THE FUEL TANK EMPTY. 65-70mm 1- Mount the wing to the fuselage. Using a couple of pieces of masking tape, place them on the top side of the wing (65-70mm) back from the leading edge, at the fuselage sides.
