Slave Function (I/O Communication)

This function enables the communications of I/O data between the master node and the slave nodes using the buffer memory
of the RJ71DN91.
Input 128 bytes and output 128 bytes can be communicated.
The connection type is polling.
Setting for I/O communication with the master node
• Set the number of I/O points for the I/O communication with the master node with the engineering tool. This setting is
unnecessary when the value is not changed from the default value (number of I/O points: 8 bytes for each).
• The slave function parameter can be set with a program as well. ( Page 97 Setting the Parameter with a Program)
