Before You Begin
The Selector requires an Agilent 8890 or 8860 GC that meets the following
requirements:

You must install the Gas Sampling Valve and update firmware and driver before

contact your Agilent support representative.

Firmware version 2.2 or later.
Agilent GC Driver version 3.4 or later.
A Gas Sampling Valve accessory is installed.
• The Gas Sampling Valve must be configured as valve type Other (not as a
sampling valve).
