    Drive Installation The TS-h3087XU-RP is compatible with 3.5-inch hard drives and 2.5-inch solid-state drives. Installing 3.5-inch Drives on 3.5-inch Trays For the list of compatible drive models, go to https://www.qnap.com/compatibility.

    The NAS has four memory slots. You can increase the memory capacity of the NAS by upgrading the memory modules. Use only QNAP memory modules to maintain system performance and stability. For NAS devices with more than one memory slot, use QNAP modules with identical specifications.

    You can also install the QNAP QTS operating system. If your NAS is connected to the internet, the option to install QTS will appear in the Smart Installation Guide wizard using any of the methods in the table. You can also manually download the QTS firmware from https://download.qnap.com.

Warning Initializing QuTS hero deletes all data on the drives.
