The ratchet buckle offers many advantages, such as being able to
quickly adjust the tension of the chinstrap without having to adjust
the strap length. Once the ratchet buckle is closed, give the chin
strap a quick pull. If the buckle releases, it has not been properly
closed. Proceed until the buckle stays fixed.
SCOTT BLEND PLUS | WHEL2201
The magnetic buckle offers many advantages, such as being able
to easily manipulate with gloved hands. To make sure that the
buckle is properly fitted, follow the instructions pictured below.
Once the magnetic buckle is closed, give the chin strap a quick tug.
If the buckle releases, it has not been properly closed. Proceed
until the buckle stays fixed.
To check the straps, grab the helmet with both hands while it is sitting firmly on your head
and attempt to take it off by pushing it forwards and backwards using serious effort.
THIS IS IMPORTANT ! If you can push the SCOTT helmet so far forward that your view is
obstructed or so far back that your forehead is exposed, then your helmet does not fit properly.
D. FIT SYSTEM ADJUSTMENT
SCOTT helmets come with the exclusive SCOTT WRAS 2 / HALO /
JRAS  stabilizing and fitting system. If your helmet is equipped with
one of the above, to adjust your fitting systems, follow these steps  :
(G) To tighten the fit system turn the dial clockwise
to a comfortable fit.
(H) To loosen the system turn the dial counterclockwise.
As with any new piece of equipment you should experiment with
the adjustment of your fit system before using the helmet.
After adjusting the fit system the helmet should fit your head
securely and comfortably, it should be snug but not uncomfortable.
E. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Find your helmet and fit system at www.scott-sports.com.
Height adjustment of the rear of the fit system is a great way to achieve a perfect fit. This
is possible for SCOTT WRAS 2 and HALO fit systems. The factory position is good for the
majority of users, however some users may find one of the other two or three positions
works better for them. Adjusting the height at the rear can also adjust the height of the
front of the helmet on the head.
WRAS 2 fit system  : With this fit system, you can
adjust the height by changing the position of the
connection with the helmet. To do this, simply
push or pull the main part of the fit system with the
wheel to reach the bottom or top position.
