Warning
• Buy special or suitable installation material from a specialist
dealer for wall-mounting.
• Ensure that you do not install any faulty or damaged parts.
• Never apply force during assembly. These can damage the
product.
• Before mounting, check that the wall you have chosen is
suitable for the weight to be mounted. Also make sure
that there are no electric, water, gas or other lines running
through the wall at the mounting site.
• Do not mount the product above locations where persons
might sit or stand.
5.1 Base station
• Place the base station on a at surface using the stand (24).
• Alternatively, you can mount the base station on a wall using the
recess (23) on the back.
5.2 Measuring station
• You can also set up the measuring station on an even surface
outdoors.
• We recommend mounting the measuring station securely and
rmly onto an outdoor wall.
• Secure the dowel, screw, nail, etc. in the wall provided.
• Hang the measuring station onto it using the cut-out (27)
provided.

6. Operation

6.1 Connection to the measuring station
• After the batteries are inserted, the base station automatically
searches for a connection to the measuring station and carries
out the initial setup routine.
Note
• Initial setup takes around 3 seconds.
• The radio symbol on the measuring station (26) ashes when
searching for a connection.
• Avoid any operation of the buttons during this time!
Otherwise, errors and inaccuracies may occur in the values
and their transmission.
• The process is nished as soon as the indoor (8) and outdoor
(2) measurement data are displayed.
• The measured value is automatically updated by the base
device about every 58 seconds.
• If the temperature value is outside of the measuring range,
LL.L for temperatures below the measuring range or HH.H for
temperatures above the measuring range will be displayed in
the temperature indicator.
• x If no signal is received from the measuring station on a
repeated basis, press and hold the
3 seconds to start the manual search for the signal.

Note - faulty transmission of the measured
values
• In some cases, interference caused by a WiFi network,
computer, TV, etc., for example, may cause the transmission
of measured values between the base and measuring
station to fail.
• If this happens, resynchronise the stations by brie y removing
the batteries from both stations and reinserting them.
• If the measured values are not transmitted again, replace the
batteries with new ones.
• If necessary, choose a new location for the base station to
avoid the possible interference signals in the future.
• The measuring station and base station may be placed max.
30 m apart from each other.
• Stay at least 1 m away from interference.
6.2 Channel selection / Additional outdoor sensors
Note
• You can install two further outdoor sensors in addition to the
outdoor sensor supplied. When doing so, ensure the same
channel setting on the base station and each outdoor sensor.
• Suitable outdoor sensors can be found at www.hama.com
• Channel 1 is pre-selected.
• Press the
button (B) repeatedly to set the same channel
as on the outdoor sensor in question. Channel 1, 2 or 3 is
displayed.
• If the
symbol appears, the weather station automatically
changes the channel display every 5 seconds. As soon as the
required channel is displayed, press the
to store it.
• To change the channel on the measuring station, open the
battery compartment and set the channel switch (29) to the
same channel as the base station.
