Introduction
We would like to congratulate you on deciding to purchase an
Olsberg pellet fireplace. Our products are subject to comprehen-
sive quality control and constant production monitoring. The condi-
tions below do not affect the end user's rights owing to product
defects arising from the purchase agreement with their contrac-
tual partner (the seller). The guarantees given are voluntary addi-
tional services from Olsberg and are only valid in the territory of the
Federal Republic of Germany.
Product information
This product is a quality product. It is developed, designed and care-
fully manufactured taking the relevant environmental legislation
and the latest technical knowledge into consideration. The materi-
als used are standard in the industry and trade and are constantly
tested for compliance with our quality standards.
General warranty conditions
Since this product, your pellet fireplace, is a technical appliance,
specific expertise is required for its sale, installation, connection and
commissioning. Installation, set-up, connection, initial commission-
ing and instruction of the end user may therefore only be done by
a competent specialist company in compliance with the prevailing
regulations.
Proof of this should be provided by a corresponding commission-
ing certificate. Olsberg may refuse to provide warranty services to
customers if this certificate is not provided.
The warranty period begins upon delivery of the product to the first
end user.
Warranty services are not provided for display models which have
been on display for more than a year. Appliances which have
exceeded this period are not considered to be new appliances.
The dealer's obligations arising from the purchase agreement
(individual contract between the customer and the special-
ist company) are not affected by this. The law of the Federal
Republic of Germany applies for the rights arising from this
warranty.
Warranty
Subject to the following limitations, we assume a
3 year warranty for Olsberg brand fireplaces for
a) perfect material properties and processing which are appropriate
for the purpose
b) perfect functioning
of the product. However, this only applies subject to compliance
with the performances specified on the rating plate, connection to
the specified operating voltage and operation with the specified
type of energy and/or with the approved fuels as specified in the
relevant, appliance-specific installation and operating manual.
We provide a two-year warranty for the durability of door
We reserve the right to make technical changes
hinges, glass ceramics (not breakage of glass) and surfaces plat-
ings (e.g. gold, chrome, with the exception of the coating), elec-
tronic components and assemblies.
Wear parts are excluded from the warranty (see the section on wear
parts).
Wear parts
Wear parts are subject to natural, "ordinary" wear according to their
function. This means that certain components of fireplaces may
have a functional or useful list which may be less than the warranty
period for the complete appliance.
We provide a six-month manufacturer's warranty on wear
parts.
The following are defined as wear parts and elements affected by
wear:
ū All parts of the combustion chamber walls which are in contact
with fire
ū All types of seals
ū The surface coating and discolouration of finishes resulting from
thermal load or overload
ū Grates, standing grates made from sheet steel, grey cast iron or
other materials
ū Operating elements (door handles, slider handles, riddle grate
frames or other elements)
ū Glass ceramics, decorative glass elements (or other elements)
ū Surface changes to the glass ceramics as a result of different ther-
mal loads, caused by flames or eddying of air or gas flows such as
soot patterns or fly ash sintered onto the surface of the panes are
not defects.
Proof of purchase
The time of appliance handover must be proven through pres-
entation of proof of purchase, such as the sales receipt, invoice,
etc. and the fully completed Olsberg commissioning certificate.
Furthermore, customer service requests are only permitted within
the warranty period with the completed customer service request
form. Your contractual partner can obtain this form from Olsberg
customer service by requesting it over the phone.
Without provision of these proofs, we are under no obligation to
provide services within the warranty period.
Exclusion of warranty
We assume no warranty for damage during transportation (such as
breakage of glass, damage to the ceramics, other damage, damage
of any sort to the fireplace cause by transportation). Transport
damage should be reported to the carrier which provides delivery
and the contractual partner immediately.

their attachments which are caused by excessive strain, improper
