Buffer ON and buffer OFF
The buffer ON temperature can be set to between 35 °C and 65 °C
and the
buffer OFF temperature can be set to between 40 °C and 70 °C.
The pellet fireplace ignites if both sensor temperatures are lower
than the buffer ON temperature which has been set.
The pellet fireplace switches from the "Heating operation" operating
status to "Ready" if the bottom sensor temperature is higher than
the buffer OFF temperature which has been set. In order to mini-
mise the loss of heat from the buffer, the lowest temperatures for
the application should always be selected.
Example:
Buffer ON factory setting: .........................................................................50 °C
Buffer OFF factory setting: ......................................................................70 °C
The pellet fireplace only ignites if both sensor temperatures (top
and bottom) fall below 50 °C.
The pellet fireplace only goes into the "Ready" operating state if the
bottom sensor temperature rises to above 70 °C.

As soon as this operating mode has been selected, operation of the
pellet fireplace is possible with no further settings.
To do this, select the desired output stage and start heating opera-
tion with the "ON/OFF button".
In "Manual" operating mode, the pellet fireplace heats at the preset
output stage in continuous operation until heating operation is
ended using the ON/OFF button.
Attention: saved switching times are only taken into consideration
in automatic mode.
The output stage can be set to 1-5 at any time:
ū Output stage 1 corresponds to the partial heat output
ū Output stage 5 corresponds to the nominal heat output
ū Factory setting: 4
