Description
If you briefly press the button, the appliance will be
enabled for remote start via the Home Connect app
If you press the button for approx. 3 seconds, the
Home Connect menu opens.
Notes
¡ For safety reasons, remote start cannot be activ-
ated if the door is open.
¡ Remote start is deactivated for safety reasons in
the following circumstances:
– Open the door.
– Press Start / Reload .
– Press Remote Start .
– Switch off the appliance.
– Following a power cut.
Activate or deactivate the childproof lock.
Disable the control panel to prevent unwanted or
accidental operation.
If the childproof lock is activated and the appliance
has been switched off, the childproof lock remains
activated.

Change the basic settings for the appliance.

Activate or deactivate prewash, e.g. for washing
heavily soiled laundry.
Activate or deactivate wash with more water and an
additional rinse cycle.
Recommended for particularly sensitive skin or in
regions with very soft water.
Activate or deactivate the reduced creasing pro-
gramme.
In order to reduce creasing in the laundry, the spin
cycle and the spin speed are adapted.
The laundry is damp enough after washing that it
needs to be hung out on a washing line.
