INSTALLING THE XVME-113 INTO A CARDCAGE
Do not attempt to install or remove any boards without first turning off the power to the
bus, and all related external power supplies.
Prior to installing a module, you should determine and verify all relevant jumper
configurations. Check the jumper configuration with the diagram and lists in the manual.
To install a board in the cardcage, perform the following steps:
1.
Make certain that the particular cardcage slot which you are going to use is clear and accessible.
2.
Center the board on the plastic guides in the slot so that the handle on the front panel is towards the bottom
of the cardcage.
3.
Push the card slowly toward the rear of the chassis until the connectors are fully engaged and properly
seated.
