The four LEDs inside the decoder (see Figure 29) indicate the following:

(red), indicates the decoder is connected to the power supply and
the power switch is ON.
(red), is used to signal successful barcode decoding. It is also used
in Test mode to signal the decoding percentage (for details refer to
the section "Test Mode" in the WinHost Help On Line).
(yellow), indicates external trigger activity (for details refer to
paragraph 2.4.5).
(green), indicates data transmission on the serial interfaces.
