DDS – Digital diagnostic system
As mentioned in the beginning, DDS is a software for database's (project's) changes and creation.
DDS is used for measurements configuration, data visualization and following data analysis. DDS
installation is described in first chapter of this manual (STEP 5: Software installation – DDS). Basics of
DDS database creation are also described in this chapter (STEP 6: DDS database creation).
The most relevant functions of DDS are described below.

Current data reading

DDS enables to read the current data anytime. The static readings are only available. Select required
items (points) in the Tree and check the 'Current' box in Data section.

Graph refresh time interval

Graphs are refreshed manually (Manual button) or automatically (check the 'Auto' box in Refresh
section).
Refresh interval is edited in 'Refresh' part under 'Online' tab. Click on 'Manual' or use 'Auto' refresh
interval.
Note: Remember that graph refresh does not make any new readings. Refresh makes readings from
database only.

Current loops and relays

Current loops and relays are set only for static measurements. Its settings are under 'Online' tab in
'Properties' of data cell window.
Loop – active current loop where measurement is ongoing,
4 mA [mm/s] and 20 mA [mm/s] – lowest and highest range for current loops values set in mm/s,
Lower/Higher value, signal overload, ICP Error – values which signalizes errors.
