Duplex Unit
Your printer supports double-sided printing if the optional duplex unit
is installed. Double-sided documents can be generated for binding
along either the short or long edges of the paper through the printer
software. For more information, refer to page 3-15.
• Take the duplex unit out of the shipping box.
• Remove the plastic bag and all shipping materials.
• Turn the printer off and then disconnect the power cord and inter-
face cable from the printer.
Installing the Duplex Unit

With a screwdriver or similar instrument, remove the flat clip that
is attached to the back of the main unit of the printer.
