Solution
Check the voltage and frequency of the outlet.
Use a power source with the following specifi-
cations:

Latin America: 120 VAC 50–60 Hz 8 amps

Latin America: 120 VAC ±10%

— Frequency fluctuation rate within 50/60

Did you wait long enough? From a cold start,
the printer takes approximately 3 minutes to
warm up. Be sure you wait long enough for a
startup page before suspecting a problem.
Make sure the option to print startup is enabled
in Administration/Startup Options/Do Startup
Page.
Perform a restore defaults on the printer.
From your control panel, select Administration/
Miscellaneous/Restore Defaults/Factory
Defaults/Yes.
Can you print a simple sentence such as "This
is a test." from a simple application on your
computer (for example, WordPad or Note-
pad)? From your start menu on your computer,
select Start/Programs/Accessories/WordPad.
Reboot the printer and reprint the job. Do you
get an error page?
