KONTAKT PLAYER 2. This manual is designed to get you up and running quickly
and guide you through the installation process as well as show you around the
features available to you in the program.
DRUMS OVERKILL may be used either as a standalone application or as a plug-
in within a sequencer. We will describe the installation and registration process
that applies to both modes, and then go into detail about how to use DRUMS
OVERKILL in a variety of situations.
When you first install DRUMS OVERKILL, it will be usable immediately in a 30-day
demo mode. You must register the library within the first 30 days to continue
using it. We will discuss the registration process below.

System Requirements

• Mac OS 10. or later, G 1. GHz or faster, 512 MB RAM or more
• Windows XP, Pentium IV or Athlon 1. GHz or faster, 512MB RAM or
more
• CD/DVD drive

Installation under Windows XP

If this is your first KONTAKT PLAYER 2 product, then the Player will be installed
with the library. If you already own a KONTAKT PLAYER 2 library, the Player
installation will be skipped and the library will be installed.
• Insert the DRUMS OVERKILL disc into the optical drive.
• Use the Windows Explorer to view the contents of the disk.
• Start the installation by double-clicking DRUMS OVERKILL Setup.exe.
