1 Check the repeatability.
2 Check if there is any abnormality in the
unit's ambient environment.
(Ex. Ambient temperature, noise,
grounding)
Initial communication error:
Alarm No.
Initial communication was not possible with the detector in the system using a

high-speed serial detector for the MAIN side detector.
Investigation details
1 Check the servo parameter (SV025)
setting value.
2 Wiggle the connectors by hand to check
whether the detector connectors (driver
side and detector side) are
disconnected.
3 Turn the power OFF, and check the
detector cable connection with a tester.
4 Connect to another normal axis driver,
and check whether the fault is on the
driver side or detector side.
5 Check if there is any abnormality in the
unit's ambient environment.
(Ex. Ambient temperature, noise,
grounding)
Serial detector initial communication error (SUB):
Alarm No.
Initial communication was not possible with the detector in the system using a
1A
high-speed serial detector for the SUB side detector.
Investigation details
1 Check the alarm No. "18" items.

The error is always repeated.
The state returns to normal once, but
occurs sometimes thereafter.
No abnormality is found in particular.

Investigation results
To prevent trouble, when changing the motor and driver combination, avoid
driving a driver with a larger capacity than the specified driver using the motor.
The motor could be demagnetized. Note that this combination can be used for
checking in the emergency stop state. The motor can be driven with a driver
with a capacity smaller than the specifications.
Replace the drive unit.
