The SAN Switch 2/8 EL utilizes the following memory.

Flash Memory: Dual 8 MB
•
Boot Flash: 512K bytes of 8-bit for system boot
The centralized memory maximizes the overall switch throughput by guaranteeing full
transmit and receive bandwidth to all Fibre Channel ports at all times.
