4. Choose the tab Hardware.
5. Press the button Device Manager.
6. Expand the row Ports.
7. Double-click on the COM1 row.
8. Choose the tab Port Settings.
9. Press the button Advanced.
10. Uncheck the check box Use FIFO Buffers
11. Exit the dialog by pressing the OK button.
