5. Displaying service startup messages
After the security databases are checked, startup messages for various system
services are displayed, such as:
*chron
*print
*scologin
6. Prompting for user login
The system will then display the login screen.
Place the trackball pointer on the Login box and type your login name. Place the
trackball pointer on the Password box (or simply press <ENTER>) and type your
password. After you have entered your password, press <ENTER> or place the
trackball pointer on the Login button and click once. The screen will then display
a window with your SCO license agreement. Click the OK button.
Both the login name and password are set to "ade" at the factory before shipment.
Login names and passwords may be changed by the system administrator
(superuser). Refer to
Administrator
for more details.
