September 2022 Quick Start Guide Trim the transmitter Before the unit is put in service, a transmitter zero trim should be performed at normal line pressure. In normal operation, the two isolate (block) valves between the process ports and the transmitter will be open, and the equalize valves will be closed. Vent valves may be open or closed.
