Quick release switch

The quick release switch controls the steam release valve — the part that releases pressure.
Seal.position
What we love about it
It's super easy to use, and keeps our
hands far away from the steam when
the multi-cooker is releasing pressure!
See Releasing pressure: Venting methods for safe depressurisation techniques.
Steam release valve
The steam release valve sits loosely on the steam release pipe.
When the multi-cooker releases pressure, steam ejects
from the top of the steam release valve. The steam
release valve is integral to product safety and necessary
for pressure cooking.
Do not cover or block the steam release valve in any way to avoid risk of personal
injury and/or property damage.

Vent.position
What we should know about it
It automatically sets to Seal when you close the
lid, so make sure to move it to Vent when you're
not pressure cooking.
