Draw out the turbulators through the upper heat exchanger pipe (1).
If there is no visible dirt in the heat exchanger, the unit is reassembled as described above, but
in reverse order. Always use new sealing rings when reassembling the unit.
If it is necessary to clean the heat exchanger, remove the service cover (3) above the burner
and check the combustion chamber (4) for dirt.
Then clean each heat exchanger pipe (1) and (7) by a round wire brush. Remove the
inspection door into the flue gas collector (6) and take out the soot through the opening in the
collector by a vacuum cleaner.
The soot from the lower heat exchanger pipes is taken out through the combustion chamber
(4) by a vacuum cleaner.
Then clean the turbulators and push them back into the upper front heat exchanger pipes (1)
and (7) and reassemble the unit in the reverse order.

4.3 Fan and V-belt

In order to check fan and V-belt remove the service door in the unit front. The condition and the
adjustment of the V-belt must be checked. The fan runner should be checked for dirt every 6
months and tightened up if necessary.

4.4 Other components

All other components in the WA 45 - 300 units are service-free. The burner should be checked
according to the instructions of the burner supplier. The function of all internal thermostats must be
checked once a year.

5. FAULT FINDING

In case of failure, check the following:
Is there any gas at the burner?
Is there any oil in the tank and are all valves open?
Is the power supply to the unit OK?
Is the room thermostat/seven days programme panel setting higher than the room
temperature?
Are the air intake and air outlet openings free?
If the above points are OK, check the heater according to the table below.
